The QUEBEC experience :

Day 1 ~ Monday June 10, 2002

Got up early to ready for Quebec. The bus ride was long and very cramped, watched one film on the way there "Fifith Element".  Arrived in Quebec around 1:30 pm.  Then headed over to the Montreal Science Centre" to watch an IMAX film a 3-D film , called "Space Station", it was really good !  The weather was great, nice and sunny. After that there was free-time for 2 hours, lots of us ate dinner and did some shopping. Then we checked into our hotel at 8:00 pm, and some of us went swimming 'till 9:30 pm. My room mates and I played cards and watched X-Files before going to sleep.

Day 2 ~ Tuesady, June 11, 2002

We had to get up early AGAIN, around 6:30 am inorder to be on time for breakfast at 7:45 am. I chose crepes (pancakes), Orange juice and bacon for breakfast. Then we got back on the bus and headed to St.Joseph's Oratory. After that we headed for the Biodome. Staying there for 2 hours we then went down town Montreal for shopping four hours.  It was rainy ALL day. I had McDonald's for dinner and then we all went back to the hotel to freshen up for a night of bowling, mini-golfing and laser shoot.

Day 3 ~ Wednesday, June 12, 2002

Today we had to rise at 6:15, no one barely moved at first!..LOL... I headed for the elevator for breakfast was going to be eaten in the hotel. As I and several other students were waiting for the elevator we noticed some out of one of the chaperons door. Then followed by the fire alarm, we all headed for the stairs and went to where we had to meet for breakfast.  All during breakfast the fire alarm rang, and we all wondered if it would stop or if we had to evacuate. Then 3 fire trucks and ambulances pulled up by the front doors, they inspected and after 30 minutes we could finally go up and load our lugagge on the bus for another long day. What had happened was one of the chaperons lit incenses and forget to watch them, they fell into the garbage can and started a small fire. We spent 3/4 hours on the bus and arrived in Quebec City in the afternoon. We stopped off at this HUGE mall that had rides and a skating rink inside , for lunch and shopping. We had 1 hour and 30 minutes. Then we got back on the bus for some site seeing of Quebec and headed for the ONLY Bee Museum in NORTH AMERICA. We got really close with the bees, only a screen seperating us. Later on we went to visit Ste. Anne de Beaupre. A VERY beautiful church. We when were finished there we then went to go and explore the Montmorency Falls. It's the highest falls in North America. They were beautiful and even held wonderful sites to see and look out on the suspense bridge to cross over the falls. Then we went down more than 20 sets of stairs to get real close to the falls. So close we got drenched. After that we checked into our new hotel. For dinner we ate in Upper Town Quebec. And then for a night walk of the city. We checked back in our hotel after 10:30 pm and went to sleep shortly after.
